How to Download Supported Media on iPhone and Android

ClipFern runs in your mobile browser with no app to install. Saving works slightly differently on each phone.

Open the TikTok Downloader

Steps

  1. Copy the post link in the social app.
  2. Open ClipFern in your mobile browser.
  3. Paste and press Download.
  4. Tap each download button and confirm if prompted.

iPhone (Safari)

After tapping a download button, Safari may ask to confirm the download. Files land in the Files app under Downloads. To move a photo or video into Photos, open it in Files, tap Share, then Save Image or Save Video.

For images you can also press and hold the preview and choose Save to Photos.

Android (Chrome)

Downloads are saved to the Downloads folder and usually appear in your gallery app automatically. Tap the notification to open the file.

Copying links on mobile

In TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat, use the Share button and Copy link. Then switch to your browser, open ClipFern, and paste with a long press in the field.

Good to know

  • Save files within 15 minutes before temporary links expire.
  • Add ClipFern to your home screen from the browser Share menu for quicker access.
